I recall engineering mentioned scheduled gas work beneath the surface before the changes can be made above ground. I’ll copy the engineering dept for their input.

I’m leaving this ticket open because there still doesn’t appear to be a safe way for pedestrians to cross the street from the T stop on the west side of the station. No crosswalks, no pedestrian lights. Other T users and I take a gamble and run across the street/traffic multiple times a day in order to make it home. What is the delay in making this side of the station as safe and nice as the other side?

Engineering states they are waiting for the Utility companies to finish and then the roadway will be resurfaced and painted

Although new signal is up and running as of 8/15/22, additional work on wheelchair ramps and crosswalks is on hold pending completion of NGrid work on Pleasant Street, Summer Street, Everlyn Place and Harden Road
