Description

We have noticed a large uptick in construction vehicle traffic on Glenwood Street this week, and it has created a safety issue for kids traveling to and from the bus stop at the corner of Glenwood and Glen, as well as when they're playing outside. Very large trucks are traveling up and down the street, often at an unsafe speed. I'm not sure that a sign is needed (or would have an impact), but I do think there needs to be better communication within the neighborhood of any active construction initiatives, as well as enforcement of speed limits for trucks traveling on the narrow road with so many kids living here.
