Dirt bike on Durrell St almost hit a young kid on a bike as he was speeding up and down the street.

I was walking from Choice Fitness this morning at approximately 6:30 am and I see the same little red car doing like 60 mph. Every morning. I try to use my hands to slow him or her down but they don’t realize or don’t care how much they are speeding endangering everyone

I have noticed an increase in Traffic Enforcement Police in the area of Woodland St pulling over vehicles for speeding and loud music disturbing the peaceful neighborhood. Thank you Gina for helping our neighborhood and Chief McNamara for his great work.

Linda, if you have specific information to provide regarding traffic issues in your area, please call the police station and ask to speak with our traffic unit. They will be able to document your specific concerns and share information regarding enforcement initiatives.

This ticket will be closed. Our Traffic Unit is aware of this problem area and they are open and welcome to your specific issues and any details that you can provide. I will add 1 more issue. The crosswalks near the Stephen Barker School or YMCA and Haverhill St in front of Dunkin Donuts need to be repainted with fresh bright paint.
