Description
In the 800 block of Selby dangerous ice has formed.
I spun out into the other lane last night, trying to pull into my driveway.
Tonight, every other car is spinning in the lane, and a white car just hit the opposite side snow bank.
I suggest you get some snow melt down that will do some good. I've seen the plow truck go through after the Christmas storm, and he was barely putting down any sand/salt.
Thanks

Nearly all (perhaps all?) of the residential side streets in St. Paul have a thick 2-4" cover of frozen slush/ice on them. And thoroughfares have unexpected sections of thick ice that appear suddenly after one thinks that the pavement is clear. This makes driving around town extremely hazardous!
I noticed a sanding truck in my neighborhood (Como Park) this morning (Jan. 6) for the first time since the Christmas storm. It may be the the ice is too thick and the temps too cold for salt to have much effect. But then we need more sand to prevent accidents!
