Let the engineer look at it and decide. I've lived here 28 years, For the first 10, there weren't any barriers/pylons, then the road was repaved and the barriers went up. Then some construction happened about 9 years ago and the barriers/pylons were never replaced. Between 7-8AM, there are drivers who want to make the U-turn and wait in the middle of the frontage road before darting across to make the turn. This does block traffic but the bigger worry is zipping across 2 lanes of traffic. During the morning commute, people drive pretty fast. Someone could easily get T-boned. Maybe it should be treated as a traffic offense but safer to have people drive up to Florence to make the U-turn.
