Description
There is a section of sidewalk in front of the playground at the school that at one time housed a tree. But now is empty. The issue with this spot is that because of the angle of the fence along the playground the space between the fence and the section for the tree is less than 3 ft wide. This is a high traffic area especially at pickup and drop-off and often parents with strollers and young kids are forced into the mud pit and stumble. From a safety perspective and a traffic flow perspective this tree well might be better served as sidewalk. It might be worth taking a look at. Or try popping by at 2:25 on a weekday and you'll see how chaotic it is and how this is a hazard. Happy to chat more about it but thought I would point that out. You have all been so great and responsive to the community and I fully appreciate that.
