I too have been hearing this for the past few nights.I live in Carriage Hill and it seems like it is right outside my windows. As a matter of fact , the blast was so intense it sent BRIGHT lite through my skylights when it exploded..I understand how you are shaken.I felt like a bomb was going off. Unfortunately,this is the result of legalizing fireworks. I thought the max volume and bass from the car radios was bad coming up the drive,this is worse..Your right,very inconsiderate and rude individuals..

Those fireworks are not legal. I looked up the law and also called NHPD about it. Only sparklers, fountains, and snakes are legal. Everything else is illegal, even if it is sold in a store here. The PD said to call next time it happens of they can pin down a location someone will be arrested. They have felt it too it was so bad it shook the ground. I asked about SHotSpotter, we still have it, but it isn't in all locations and it has been calibrated to tell the difference between a gunshot and a firework. I said this is like an explosion not a measly firework and they couldn't answer. So next time you hear it, call the NHPD. The more people that call the more likely we will get a response.

Yes You are right .I am mistaken.They can't be legal.Hey must be like the 1/4 sticks of dynamite.Too powerful to be an M80!.If I hear them tonight ,I will call NHPD.

Please do, also I heard this a few days ago in the middle of the day. Also at night. My neighbor also heard it at night and her kids were terrified. They thought a bomb had gone off!

The sidewalk around 88 Perkins St is never cleared of snow. Why does the city allow this to happen out here, cause you can bet that the Mayor would have a fit if she had to walk on sidewalks that were still covered with snow.

I have been told that the city never plows out Pine Alley. There are 2 older gentlemen who own snow blowers that clean out mot of the alley.
The Public Works Dept should hide there head in shame.

This complaint was from June 2014, over a year and a half ago, and has to do with fireworks, not snow. I am the original poster, under a different name and I closed it because the issue was resolved. Please don't re-open, and make sure you post your snow complaint in the proper area or it won't be addressed by the city.
