Thanks for reporting to Gilbert 311! This issue has been identified and recorded for future repair and a barricade has been placed on location, if necessary. We look to resolve this issue as soon as possible and will post updates to this service request as work is completed. Thanks!
Why is this concrete trip hazard being closed? It was never repaired. Gilbert public works left an orange traffic cone where the sidewalk concrete is lifted creating a trip hazard and marked the street with a paint marking when it was first reported. The orange cone is no longer in place, either removed by Gilbert Public Works or small children playing in the area, which is no excuse to close the repair ticket. It was identified as being in front of 4269 E Sierra Madre Ave, Gilbert, AZ. Had your inspector Arturo inspected the sidewalk in front of that address he would have seen the sidewalk elevated by two inches. Please repair ASAP, as this has been an open request to repair for three month. If you need me to elevate this so it gets rectified I will.
