**ATTENTION** As a result of the passage of Senate Bill 60, the Florida Legislature and Governor DeSantis changed existing State Law to prohibit the investigation of anonymous reports of potential violations of municipal property codes, effective July 1, 2021.

To submit a report of a code violation, the reporter is now required to supply their full name and address, and this information will become part of the public record. This applies to online submissions via the SeeClickFix application, as well as reports made by phone, email, or in-person to the Codes Compliance Assistance Department.

I did log in to report this. I just chose the 2nd option where I could hide my information, which was clearly an option in the submission form. If the City doesn't have an enforcement officer available on Sunday to check for violations and violators appear to know this, then a lot of illegal construction, etc., will continue to be done on the weekends, especially Sunday. Case in point, in regards to this submission, the large bin which was placed here Friday afternoon was picked up before 8:30 this morning so that the evidence that work was being done is now gone. This new law will stifle community participation since the fear of retaliation is too great.
