Is there something that can be done about the cars coming off SB 509 onto 188th in the afternoon?

The cars are taking the exit to go WB on 188th and doing U turns or going EB in the WB lanes around the barrier. People who are coming off from SB 8th Ave turning left onto 188th are not expecting vehicles to do U turns there and even though there is a curb there the cars are managing to still do it. I've seen several ALMOST accidents in this area as my work is right there!
