No use in complaining every time someone brings up the issue they just say they have contacted the gas company and the work will be finished the same week someone complains there is obviously no worries from the township for residents and the safety for adults and especially the children walking or getting to the bus and sidewalks being dangerous as well and that they put up cones saying residents can not park in certain places yet all the workers line the streets with their vehicles.

Update: north division also closed (again) today. And there’s a garbage bag (left full) on my front lawn as well. I would like some form of communication with a reason as to why they are RE-DOING the work they already completed, as well as a time frame for when this will be done. Three months of loud work starting at 6:30 am is extremely frustrating. Any input would be appreciated by residents.

A full beer can was also left on the street. And literal yelling, laughing and carrying on started at 6:30 am outside our windows. A little respect would go a long way.

Another update: my homes Trash is only one not picked up on our street becsuse they couldn’t get to it. Please advise what to do.

I had to go out this morning and make sure that my daughter was okay to get to the bus stop as they had a dump truck parked right where the stop is and talked to the guy flagging and said you realize this is a bus stop and the kids had to walk a few blocks yesterday to get home because the road was closed I said I am worried for the safety of these kids and all he did was say well you know how buses are and then also proceeded to say he didn't want anything to happen to a child because he would get sued and laughed about it, also to mention it is Lindy paving that is out there now when I was leaving for work a Borough truck had pulled up so hopefully something is handled.

Can we please get some communication about how long this goes on? Is there someone we should call about bussing, safety and garbage pick up?

The problem is the gas company originally started the work and now the subcontractors have been coming and to finish things up so it is more than one company doing the work, they should now be allowed on the street working the hours that the school buses are running, kids literally had to stand where the big vehicles are moving and are having to walk to different stops to get on or over it is completely unsafe and no one seems to be taking it seriously

I agree Caitlyn! And some communication as to why new contractors are here redoing all the work they seemed to complete last month? That’s what it seems like. Clue us in! And let us know how long this will be. It’s dangerous, and disruptive. I know things need to get done, and I was happy to see progress but over two months with zero communication or respect for residents is unacceptable.
