Trees in the parkway (between sidewalk and street) are city trees. The city should be dealing with them -- and I've seen them do it -- just not recently. There are major sidewalk issues (due to city tree roots) on Sea ST between Howard and Greenwich as well. Bad news if you are 3 years old and trying to learn how to ride a bike... or 30+ just trying to go for a walk at night! This block has been short changed in recent years....

Thanks! The only time I've seen anyone not the homeowner deal with them is UI electric company butchering the trees to avoid power lines. I'm not sure I would trust my gorgeous elm to the city.
