I agree! It’s so hard to get out the alley with our cars and the water is so dirty and unsanitary. It really is a problem.

You need to report this issue to Buildings, Safety & Engineering Department. The property owner is dumping laundromat drainage into the public alley. This is a bad violation that needs to be inspected -her drains may be illegal. An inspector will come out to inspect the situation and if it is a business it could be shut down. If a private home -what else is she dating? Kitchen water? Toilet water?
Call this number to report: 313/876-0426 on a business day. Don’t give up. Keep saying it’s a sewage drainage issue in the alley and provide the address.
