NY Post cited RI PO as being considered for closure. Please do everything possible to stop this from happening!!!

Roosevelt Island was named for President Franklin Delano Roosevelt who showed the world how to live as a physically challenged person. thus, we have a huge population of disabled and elderly residents who can live well on this island but often cannot function off the island. They, as well as the elderly (2 senior citizen buildings), as well as those who don't have cars, must have their services here, including the post office. Please make sure it is not closed!

The New York District of the United States Postal Service (USPS) has removed the Roosevelt Island Station post office from the Postal Service’s discontinuance list.
