I've let the Department of Urban Forestry know about the issue and you may contact me for follow up. Whether a tree can be removed depends on a number of factors including ownership. Do supervisor's receive notification of 311 complaints or can they view them?

No. 311 operators direct comments and complaints to the relevant City department. Of course, our office can do the same thing. But 311 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and their staff is designed for requests such as this.

That's great. Does SF 311 allow for anyone to see what issues have been reported and how long it has taken them to respond?

No, not right now.
