Please clarify what you mean by a "gas pit". However, there are fire department and building department permitting regulations regarding propane use and storage and natural gas use. We are available by phone (413)594-1637 to answer specific questions. We have in person office hours Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. with appointment or 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with appointment if you prefer to meet in person.
