I agree.To have 2left turning lanes is wrong.

And where do you suppose the extra lane should go. How about you get off at a different exit if it bothers you so much. I suppose you also are one of those people who fly through construction zones.

Whatever - Theres plenty of room for another lane to the right. The 615 exit was added for convenience and traffic flow - why not do it right? How in the world did we get to being "one of those people that fly through construction zones?

i agree. I use this exit daily and the backup onto 90 would be much less with a right-turn lane. it's not just an issue of convenience to those turning right, it will decrease the hazard caused by the back-up.

I agree need a right hand only lane

3 cars in left lane. 10 cars in right - 7 of which are turning left. There we sit waiting for the first guy in the right lane to turn left. Lets keep traffic moving. The idea of right turn on red is genius. Lets allow it to happen.

Since you are oh so important that you can't be inconvenienced by others making the left turn, I'm sure ODOT will hop right on it. It only took in excess of 20 years for ODOT to agree to put in the interchange. I'm sure your left turn lane will be started by them tomorrow. lol

Why do the left turners always have to get personal? Is it becase they dont have a rational argument why there shouldn't be a right turn lane? ODOT had 20 years to plan it and they still got it wrong. I have an idea - lets just make the two lanes that are there a left turn only and a right turn only. Since the left turners don't mind being inconvenienced they can wait for the light 3 or 4 times. I'd ask Yes SIR!!! the same question I asked James - Have you ever turned right on red??? Why? Why not just wait for the light? I think there was a reason they enacted right turn on red!

What a petty thing to whine about. Having to wait a minute or two longer to take a right hand turn isn't a big deal. With the limited visibility at that light, even if they did have a right turn only lane, it would probably be 'no turn on red', so there wouldn't be much of a benefit.

This isn't a safe place to allow a right turn on red -- Poor visibility because of the bridge construction. I turn right here often, and it is about one minute longer than if there were a right turn only lane. Sacrificing safety simply isn't worth it, and it would tie up northbound traffic more also.
