There were 3 dangerous concrete poles that were taken down for safety issues on water st. These poles cannot be replaced at this time since we do not currently have a contract. we are also putting in for a free cash request for additional funds to catch up on our backlog of outages along with money to try and replace the dangerous concert poles through out the city that have been taken down. these poles cost approx. $5k - $7k per R+R we currently have 13 that have been removed do to extreme safety concerns with no funding to replace them and 94 that will need to be re-assessed and removed as needed. please under stand once we get our contract we will need to prioritize outages and watch our budget very closely. we are also facing huge price increases on parts, limited availability, long back orders, and limited staffing. Your issue has been assigned to a DPW employee for inspection. Once the scope and extent of the issue is determined, it will be scheduled for maintenance or repair as needed.
