there are no “major construction” in our house. Due to the flood a couple of months ago, we have water damage in our basement and cabinets needed to be changed. insurance company did not cover it so therefore, we did it ourselves with the help of some relatives who had the time just now. We managed to control the molds with a portable dehumidifier. We called the city to pick up the garbage but they said they can’t since it’s been a couple of months already since the flood. Hence, we called a private contractor to pick up the garbage. There are no new structures and there are no movement of existing plumbing and vaults. According to N.J.A.C. 5:23-2.1, the work we did is considered “ordinary maintenance” so therefore such report is baseless and false.
