Description

My neighbors have recently installed bright, high-wattage light bulbs in several of their outdoor light fixtures attached to their house. I'm asking for your help in contacting them to remind them of the Shoreline outdoor lighting regulations per Shoreline Municipal Code Sections 20.50.115, 20.50.205, 20.50.240, and 20.50.410(Q) ~Ord. 663).

The "light trespass" is extensive; I can see my shadow in my own house when I turn out the lights for the night. The light fixtures are not designed to be down-lit and shielded from neighboring properties, so with the new bulbs they installed, there is a high level of glare from dusk to dawn.
