How long are we going to be looking at this eyesore for?

It's PRIVATE PROPERTY !! They do not want the liability , of construction workers and others parking there.
Why do you think they moved out of there ?
Because of inconsiderate parents parking there morning and afternoon, dropping off and picking up their kids ! Leaving no place for CUSTOMERS to park !!!

Actually they moved out because Salem Five merged with Stoneham
Savings Bank and they suddenly had three locations with in one mile. I can understand that they don't want people parking at that location but we need a more permanent solution then four beat up saw horses right on Main Street.

It is time for Stoneham to hire a Town Planner. It has been talked about, but has there been any movement by the town to make it happen? The turnover of businesses there has been frequent over the years. It seems like an ideal location for a business. Plenty of visibility and parking. What more could a business ask for?

This property is located in a prime business area. I have to believe this location can be worth a lot of money to the right business. Can the town be proactive to solicit or attract a business that will bring money to the town in the way of taxes and income for the town?

At he very least its a safety concern. School starts in two weeks and kids will be walking around these unsecured structure. there's a good chance a strong wind if not a kid will knock them into oncoming traffic Main Street. I very much doubt that this is in their site plan. Finally we just spent $40 million on a new middle school and this is the view of it from the street, Nice!
