Walked across WA-305 eastbound at 6:42p tonight (1/24) on Highschool Rd when walk sign turned to walk it went nearly instantly to flashing don’t walk. Crossing the road, light turned red (and opposing traffic turned green) before we could safely cross street.

It appeared to have switched in the manor reserved for an emergency vehicle but there was no emergency vehicles present. Wanted to report the incident for investigation and note that the crossing time is set too slow for anyone not breaking into a jog to get across in time. Seemed very unsafe especially at night.
