City of Brookhaven City Manager's Office assigned this issue to Brookhaven Department of Public Works

The lights here are serviced by P-TOP and not the City's Public Works. The issue has been reported and was already under review by P-TOP in order to eliminate some of the false readings by the camera censor.

This is what the PCID folks told me on June 9th about those crazy lights --> Thank you for contacting the Perimeter Community Improvement Districts. We are aware of this matter. There are detection issues at these intersections, which have been reported to the City of Brookhaven. The following action is being implemented to address these issues:

· The Perimeter Summit intersection is scheduled to be repaired later this month along with the striping changes.

· The Lake Hearn intersection has poor detection and is placing false calls. This intersection is planned to be upgraded as part of the PCID’s Automated Traffic Management System (ATMS) project in the future. The signal is working on a pre-timed plan and not activated by an arriving car.


The FOUR redlights from Perimeter Summit to I285 are seriously out of sync - when one is turning green, the next one is turning red - I got thru there to early each morning and get stopped by each one of them - it is very annoying. How many times have they claimed to have fixed these lights.

First, what and who is P-TOP? So I am really confused on who responsible for these lights? The lights were fine until just a few weeks ago, not certain why they are not as efficient as they were?
