We just moved to this new address and I am requesting that the Jacaranda tree be removed by the mailbox. We had a sewer scope inspection completed on November 22, 2021 after purchasing the house and discovered that the roots of the Jacaranda tree have contributed to root intrusion in the sewer lines at about 60.9 ft and 79.1 ft. The roots are so large that they are upheaving the sidewalk in front of the house and during this past windy weekend, large branches from the tree fell onto the sidewalk and our front yard. I am nervous for a tree branch to fall and hit a car or person that parks under the tree. It it is at all possible, I would like the Jacaranda tree removed and replaced with another tree variety, and to have the root intrusion removed from our city sewer line.
