The other night, I was headed southbound on U.S. Route 9 on my way towards Clifton Park. As someone unfamiliar with the area, I was driving fairly slowly, but was maintaining a safe speed.

It was late at night and the roundabout was only halfway lit up. It was hard to navigate around this roundabout without the whole thing being illuminated.

As I continued on, I could not see which way to continue southbound on Route 9, and next thing I knew, I was on the gravel road of Phaeton Drive with my brakes locked up and gravel flying everywhere!

I literally could not see where I was driving!

There are no streetlamps or sawhorses or anything whatsoever to indicate that Phateton Drive is an uncompleted roadway with hazardous travel conditions!

Some kind of streetlamps or orange barrels or orange traffic-cones need to be installed here to warn drivers that Phaeton Drive is not yet completed!
