Description

People entering I-95 S coming from the Ella Grasso Blvd ignore the yield sign and come speeding up the entrance ramp...it needs to be bigger!

I also tried reporting this (see Signs #62743) but with no response. Both the northbound and southbound entrance ramps have this problem. I use these highway entrances every day, and the yield signs (three in total) are routinely ignored. I'm not an expert on road signage, so I don't know what the solution should be, but it is a very dangerous problem

The size of the sign is not the problem - police need to start issuing tickets.

Is that feasible though? It would be State Police that would have to enforce the Yield. I don't see that as a viable option as they have enough to deal with in trying to monitor driving behavior and speed throughout CT. Paying attention to this one particular area is not going to be on their radar.

Perhaps a larger Yield sign and some sort of caution sign to increase the chances of motorists who currently disregard the risk and speed onto the highway, to pay closer attention to their behavior.
