Better than a traffic light might be some of those traffic shaping curb bump outs so that it is harder to speed through down the hill.

Could we also please have an update on the Newark ave bike lane that was supposed to be installed last year?

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We will conduct a preliminary traffic assessment to determine what type of traffic control is warranted at this intersection. The preliminary assessment will also help identify if a more in-depth study is required. Please allow 4 to 6 months for preliminary study to be completed.
