LOCKS MALFUNCTION at public restroom door #4 located at above address.
11/2021 Group of after school kids horsing around, banging, yelling, slamming on doors 1,2,3. When they got to door #4 they knew someone was occupying (I had my cell on) they rattled door and slammed onto the door skooters/skateboard repeatably and asked if anyone in there? I did not reply. Then shook outside handle over and over. Then I noticed the latch above inside handle jiggled it's way to able door to open. Three times I jumped up to lock it. (door image with green dots shoes damage from the banging).
12/2021 Different group of guys kept kicking outside door #4 repeatably and hard. Same effect the kicking loosened the latch above door handle. I yelled out "cut it out" jumped up holding my pants and quickly opened door to find out who it was. Two 15/16 year old boys were running over the rr tracks to Veterans Park and hung out there. (I had image of mud splats on door from the kicking but cannot find).
01/2022 After school kids again trying to open door and wanting to know if someone in there. Rocking door handle back and forth and yes latch inside falls to where door is able to open. This time I was able to take a pic of kids. If you need to see I still have.
TODAY 02/18/2022 I had stopped by public restroom to follow-up on few GRAFFITTI I had submitted and issue was done. I went to door #4 since I was here and omg this time was much older guy saying "whoever is in here you better get out... you don't belong here...it's mine". I was gathering my things becuz I was ready to leave (door jiggling etc and latch above handle loosens with door being able to open). I come out and made a comment "I don't have to say who is in here and who are you to say I need to leave". He then said "oh you don't have to leave... I was showing some punks who is in charge". I just said "I'm leaving anyways". Washed my hands and left. This time while heading to my destination my stomach ached and was flipping.
The door handle inside door #4 is the cause of incidences due to door lock handle cannot lock and secure door from being jiggled. Yes the button you push to lock has no purpose. I truly hope I was able to explain situation. (now I noticed inside the handle is getting looser and looser). PLEEEEEZE 86 door handle and latch to lock. Start over. (my concern is not just for me but hopefully not a different scary situation for others). Thank-you in advance 🇺🇸
