Description

The White House Hotel has a violation to fix something on the facade of their building. Rather than fix it, they have had scaffolding up for nearly two years. It is unsightly and creepy under there. I live next door and am tired of seeing it. What can be done?

Agreed! My husband and I have been living on the block for over 2 years and we have never seen it clear of the ugly scaffolding. Please can someone tell us what we need to do to have it removed? The Bowery between Bond Street and Great Jones could be a much nicer block.

Apartment 7R agrees! Not only is the scaffolding unattractive and annoying, it seems to give people a spot to linger under. We would really like this removed as well so let us know if there's anything we can do to help!

Finally. After five years they have cured the violation! The scaffolding is down. Thank God.
