Everyone can't start blocking roads because of big puddles.

If cars are driving through it can't be that deep!!! Exclamation point!!!

because the issue was never addressed by someone who works for township or is in position to assist. All other issues that have been posted previously I received confirmation of from someone within the county coucil or committees about this.

In response to the 1 person who feels the need to negatively comment on this twice - you must not be affected by high rain waters & for that I Am happy for you. However, for those of us whom are-please leave our posts to be handled by those who can help instead of criticize or try to make light of it. I did say cars drive thru but not ALL of them make it ! Several of them stall out & then block our road for hours sometimes days until they are dried out or towed away . Its a narrow road with a curve & some residents park on the street so when there is a car stuck, it makes it difficult for others to get thru . Those who make it thru , the water is 3 feet YES 3 FEET ! people with trucks find it humorous to drive thru fast casuing a HUGE wake behind them! This wake travels to our garage door and YES knocks the garage door off track ! This sends water gushing into our garage AND our recroom! So,now we not only have water damaged property but home damage due to the wakes of the cars! This is why we request the street blocked - ALL of our belongings & personal property continue to get damaged. We can put items in totes but there are somethings that still get damaged - washing machines , dryers etc ! The water on our street is much more than a big puddle & anyone who has seen it at its worse will attest to that ! Some cars that make it thru ONLY make it thru when it is NOT at its worst! AT its worst we had a Pick up truck that was even lifted up get stuck ! So it would be more than a puddle to stall out a raised truck like that. But as I had previously stated -when it doesnt effect you personally you cannot grasp the effect it has on people . And it is for that reason that I hope you NUTS4DELCO NEVER have to experience what we do .HOWEVER, you might be happy to hear that we were just advised that since the water is not only creating damage but the vehicles driving thru 'assist' in causing further damage we can now go after the vehicles ! We are to take pics & video of the motorists vehicles getting the pic & plate of those insisting on going thru. This evidence is then turned into the company who advised us about this new program & this agency will then in turn contact the motorists insurance company & police. Its being treated almost like a hit & run. The motorists are causing damage & leaving the scene. So that is another reason why we are requesting the roads block so all the people who ignore our requests to stop wont get hit with fines becuase of it! But thank you for your ever so concerned responses !

because the person who keeps closing it is just someone who feels the need to negatively impact what this website was set up for . The person closing it is not someone of stature within the county & as such has no right to close it. They are just opting to close it because it allows them to & they obviously have an interest in trying to bother those who are legitimately trying to resolve an issue.

The person who closed this made a comment to me that I must have alot of time on my hands & complain alot ? I don't-however I do make the time to check this site because of the issue being of importance. Also, I continue to check this to get a good laugh after a hard days work. The person who seems to constantly find the need to close this or make comments consistantly & repeatedly on here is really showing an interest in what I have to say so thanks for that interest. But their insistance on following this when it obviously doesnt affect them is really rather humorous & amusing to me.
