State DOT was contacted and that is still being worked on by a contractor. Unknown on the completion date. If this is a hazard in any way please advise. Thank you.
It is hard to see what else DOT contractor has to do at the site besides remove the plastic covering. I don't believe that the current condition represents an urgent hazard, but the plastic that is ripped could be considered a trip hazard, which would not be good given the proximity to two busy roads. If it were me I would have someone remove the plastic just to be safe.
