really contemplating leaving hollywood. Have done so much to make and keep my house as part of the so called prize neighborhood of hollywood and even to get house of the month, but the city does not do it's part to help. This is 2 years now and even personal saw code enforcement and showed them the house while they are parking on their lawn and nothing is ever done. The address is 718 n 16th ave and even in the hollywood gazette local lakes of hollywood paper three months ago had a write up saying this would not be tolerated...BUT IT IS TOLERATED obviously

you have to wonder about Code Enforcement officers, who write up some owners for trivial little infractions but look the other way with slumlords who don't even attempt to professionally remedy a bad situation, endangering tenants' health and lives. You gotta wonder how those unethical, immoral slumlords can be permitted to SELL, over and over amongst 'family' , absolutely decrepit houses that ought to be condemned and torn down because they represent a real and looming health threat to tenants, to artificially raise real estate prices and line their own ( and, guessing here, others') pockets.
