Obstruction on sidewalk...again...
Once again, this property owner is being negligent and blocking the sidewalk in front of the property with debris from the wall in the front. This is unacceptable and unsafe. Please address this issue with the property owner ASAP and determine if fines are appropriate at this time.

According to the Building Department (and to City Ordinances), this is something that needs to be enforced by the City Engineer. This is the second time that I report this same issue. It was "temporarily fixed" (debris was removed from the sidewalk), but it is once again a problem in terms of blocking the sidewalk. Please ensure that the City Engineer follows up on this immediately. It is a safety issue and an eyesore. The sidewalk is completely blocked at this location. Please refer to Sec. 38-36, 38-40, and 38-41 in our City Ordinances. All of these make reference to the City Engineer needing to be the enforcer and not the Building Department. Several individuals are listed as owners of this property in mapgeo.com. We need some accountability now.
