It's a nightmare and the reason my son attends the Ridley YMCA daycare and not Granite Run. It takes me 30 minutes to go up 452 (from 352), turn right onto Rt. 1 to the Y, and back again. Middletown has become worse than Springfield.

Better Planning and coordination with the County and Penn State to stager shifts and classes would be a start!
Middletown and PennDot need to address the poor access to Rt 1 and work to make it better.

Good Luck with anything happening here. This trafiic just gets worse each day.

and the Penn State students are the worse drivers. They dont let you out because they are too busy texting and smoking pot.
Maybe the State Police can do something and just sit and watch.

Now that the Granite Run Mall is on its way out; take some of the parking lot at the edge and widen Rt. 352. This area by the mall is always a bottleneck during rush hours. 352 is poorly designed anyway and should have been widened at least 25-30 years ago.

Time for a new highway-----The Chester- Edgmont Bypass!

PennDot and the Township have their heads in the clouds. There needs to be positive action towards fixing this growing problem before any new development takes place.
The State, County and Township must develop a master plan to address this terrible traffic problem and GRM should be part of the solution along with Fair Acres and the county property, Penn State, Lima Estates, Pilot.....
The elected officials need to address this problem head on with the stakeholders and find answers!
