Description

This road is so full of cracks and potholes. It is a danger to bikes especially, which need to swerve to avoid holes.

this is a marked bike route, and is in extremely poor condition with all the pot holes.

Sachem St. is in horrible shape; one has to ride the center line to avoid the monster potholes and cracks in the road surface

The city's bike plan says that roads need to be kept in good condition if they are marked as a bicycle route. So this is basically a joke.

Make Yale pay to repave Sachem St. (or sell the road to Yale - they "only" have 17 billion dollars...). All of the property on Sachem St. is owned by Yale. Yale construction, installation of utilities, etc. has destroyed the road surface, and sediment laden runoff from Yale construction sites has clogged the storm drain at the corner of Sachem and Prospect St. If I jackhammered the road, in front of my property, do you think I would be held responsible for destroying the road?
