The volunteers that help with the maintenance of the garden did not leave the green waste in the bike lane. Apparently some other people pulled /pushed the bags from the grassy area onto the street!

The volunteers did not leave the bags in the bike lane. They had been placed on the grass area where they are usually left! Apparently some other people came along and pushed them out into the street!

That is not true. The irresponsible volunteers placed the bags and blocked half of the bike lane. Then they fell down. I saw that early on Saturday and can be a witness. Just because they volunteer, does not give them permission to put cyclists in danger. There is no method to pick them up at that location. If a garbage truck went to pick them up it would cause a terribly dangerous situation. These bags could have caused a cyclist to veer into busy traffic. Garbage trucks do not pick up on that section of Tunnel Road. In the past, the debris was taken to people's homes and not abandoned anywhere. Just because they are volunteers do not give them permission to do illegally dumping.

Perhaps you can help by being a supportive neighbor and talk to volunteers if you actually see this happening. I also saw the bags properly placed and not in the bike lane at 5pm. Well after the volunteers left.

Ignorance of the law is not an excuse to violate the law. That area is anti-people and it violates civil rights law. The paths are completely not suitable for handicapped people. there is nothing for children. It completely ignores civil rights law.
