Description
This 23 million dollar, 1.1 mile project was scheduled for completion in July 2014, a date which is unlikely to be met. Is there any end in sight, or was this one of Patrick Cannon's "gifts" to a "minority" contractor that could go on for years to come?

Still not done. Contractor blames God for bad weather. If the job had completed in the summer, as planned, weather would not be an issue. Let's NEVER award a contract to this sorry group again.

Still not done! How in the world can a 1.1 mile project to add bike paths and side walks and change the looks of a road from a classic country lane to a drag strip lined with dead trees take THREE YEARS! Now we find out that our taxes MUST be raised to cover a $24 MM short-fall. It is a cruel coincidence that this is the same as the cost for the Rea Road project.
PS. Let's keep an eye on this job after completion. Given the crappy performance of the contractor, my expectation is for serious problems to arise within 6 months due to faulty sub-grade preparation.

Still not done! Almost half way into year FOUR of this 2 year boondoggle, crews remain at work ripping out sidewalks and drains. It now seems possible that this project will, literally, never end.
