Additional info on clogged stormwater system. Standing water on the south end of McGill Terrace [east side of street] has no place to go. Water on the east side of the road does not drain into the small storm sewer on the opposite side of the street. Water flows down the hill toward Ross Bridge carrying mud, rocks and silt into city drainage and frequently blocking/covering the public sidewalk. The erosion channel is now more than two feet deep and so much debris has been carried into city drainage over the past couple of years that the south end of the channel is blocked. Additionally on the north end of McGill Terrace there is an inoperable storm sewer [no connection to the street--serves only as a water catchment in a residential yard]. Opposite this sewer the builder has cut two earthen channels next to the road to funnel mud and silt into city drainage. The residential owners association is the builder. The neighborhood has not been turned over to the homeowners. Please contact the builder--Embassy Homes--to resolve these issues: 205 949 5529
