Still an issue on 7/2/22

Looks like no much has been done to fix this issue. Several places still are still getting flooded. And some part have runoffs

We keep seeing addressed with builder- but nothing happens. The little bridge in that area has stayed so wet the boards are warped and present a real hazard! Is this how WF manages storm water run off? Plenty of the problems we face on my neighborhood is a result of builder mismanagement as the town looks the other way. Hope everyone will take the time to complete the storm water survey 🙏

Update please - still not addressed and perhaps getting worse.

Town is obviously not going to do anything accept continue to let this building run out of control. A neighbor suggested getting Environmental Agency involved. Does anyone have contact information?

Thank you for reporting the issue. The Town of Wake Forest's public works crews performed some minor maintenance in August of 2022 to help relieve some of the flooding that is occurring. The greenway is located in the floodplain, so it is more prone to flooding events. However, the Town will continue to monitor the area, and scope future maintenance projects as needed.

The small amount of work done by WF did nothing to help this situation. I don’t think all the flooding is a result of a “flood plan” the run off - coming straight out of culverts built by the contractor is constantly dumping water and the place looks like a swamp! This has to be an environmental problem!

Perhaps it needs a low bridge similar to what is done a little further up
