I already reported the fire hydrant twice before, beginning over 2 weeks ago. Every time I called the water department emergency number, they said they will send somebody right away. But nothing has been done so far, it is still running. I was told today that since I already reported it, it will be taken care of when 'they' have time to come around because 'they' take care of all hydrants in the city and there is a wait to have them repaired. When I asked the name of the woman on the phone, she just hung up. I made the call to the water department emergency # 215-685-6300 at 7:13pm on 7/26/14 and spoke with a woman who refused to provide her name or any information on the progress or expected resolution time.
