We moved into this house around 4 years ago. Since day one, we have had inconsiderate neighbors and strangers parking in front of our driveway, when our car is clearly parked in the space, there is a curb ramp, and visible leftovers of yellow paint applied to the curb from the previous owners. We do not like to call the police, because they always take so long, and half the time the cars are gone by then. These are usually not our immediate neighbors, fortunately, but rather those from other streets, shoppers, friends/family of Shadyside residents, and other strangers. We have not had any recurring incidents with any one vehicle in particular. My question is, will we get fined if we paint our curb yellow again or place some sort of no-parking sign? Or is there someone we can call who will be able to organize this?
