The greenway is located in the floodplains and floodway which are subjected to flooding. There are areas where the topography and elevations do not allow runoff to flow freely creating ponding. The Town is currently working with the developer to address immediate issues and have included it in capital improvements plan for a comprehensive solution.

We are aware of the issues and town staff is working on addressing.

And yet this was not an issue until the developer started tearing up land and building a 50 foot wall. This remains an issue, and it is a shame because this area never had issues previously.
