Deskripsyon

Swale is too shallow causing stormwater to run out over the roadway resulting in blacktop damage. Need to dig out swale and reinforce with riprap at road edge. Uphill (upstream) from this location swale appears to be doing its job.

Here you can see where the swale gets too shallow and water starts to run out over the road. In winter this becomes very icy. Digging out the swale and reinforcing at the road edge with riprap should solve the problem. Swales need to be maintained every few years.
