I am requesting a review of my neighbors stone work. Restoration of the upper half of the stone porch at 7340 S. South Shore Dr. was completed last year. The lower portion of the porch was not repaired. Cracks have been forming and increasing. In light of the recent tragedy from a facade collapse in Englewood I am questioning the safety of this stone facade. There was tremendous work done and it looks great. The stones on the bottom seem to be shifting. My concern is the lower porch which was buttered and not rebuilt and is now cracking.
