I am afraid for my neighbors, visiting friends and animals because there has been no slowing down at all on Via Blairo. If anything, I think it's getting worse.
Thank you for engaging with the City of Corona via See Click Fix. Your traffic request has been received and forwarded to a Traffic Bureau team member to monitor and address. Our goal is to assist in addressing your request as soon as resources allow. Are you able to advise a time when you notice the speeding most? We would like to direct our enforcement to where it would be most effective.

Thanks again for helping us keep our streets and City safe.
Thank you! Speeding is all day and night, but mostly towards end of the business day, they typically floor it where the asphalt stops and concrete starts right around my home, 805 Via Blairo, going uphill. Some of them are so fast and loud, that they set car alarms off. I understand driving downhill, your speed picks up, but that's what brakes are for, right? I worked with your traffic engineer before and they added 25 MPH speed limit signs that did nothing to slow the speeders down. I think a good spot would be at intersection of Via Blairo and Mandevilla, but also all the way down on Via Blairo, towards Hidden Valley. Hopefully nobody hits that truck and junk hauling trailer that blocks the road there, on VB, you can't miss it. I have had some close calls with speeders because the truck and trailer blocks the view and had to come to a complete stop.
Farther up the hill, #1000-up, the afternoon and evening hours are the most notable. For downhill drivers, I might suggest a sign that says "00% grade, use lower gear." Specific uphill drivers treat the street like a competition hill climb.
Thank you for the updated information. Our officers have been advised and will continue to monitor and address any traffic related issues, as resources allow. We appreciate your assistance in keeping our streets and city safe. If you'd like to speak with our Police Traffic office directly, please don't hesitate to contact us at 951-736-2330 option #2.
