Last year I almost got ran off the road by a school bus that was going over 50 and veered into my lane, then she had the nerve to honk at me! So yes something needs to be done on this road.

They should just up the speed limit to 55 on Walton. That should be a minimum speed on ALL Michigan roads.

Boo Hoo....try going with the flow of traffic. You state clearly that you ride in the left (passing) lane. get in the right lane if you are going to drive around like an old granny!

Sorry to hear about your little brother! Was he crossing at an intersection? Did speed have anything to do with it?

Just obey the law. It isn't that hard - at least for most of us.

Stop exaggerating...... I drive that road E V E R Y D A Y!!! I live on Lake Angelus and when I decide to take Clintonville to get home instead of going around to Baldwin I take the same route you do. it's a busy road but I've never had a problem trying to get over.
Your contradicting yourself..you say that the right lane goes faster than the left , yet you still cant get over? How is that possible? I think it is because you are driving slow and holding up traffic. I recommend you go to All About Driving and learn some skills. it's right down the road from you on Walton.
The speed limit through that area is 45 I believe, is it so hard to go 50 to merge into the lane you need to get into? Or......how about when you pull out onto Walton you dont cut out into busy traffic and then you can get right into the left lane like you need.....very simple...

The Police Dept. does not get notified of these comments, nor do they read them...

Again.... please look at the map. I have indicated between Clintonville and Sashabaw, not between Clintonville and Silver Lake Road. I've lived in the area of 30 years, on Lake Angelus, I think I know what the traffic signs say.
And no, I said if you 'start in the right hand lane and need to get over to the left to get into the turn lane.' Try turning right (east bound) onto Walton from Sashabaw, stay in the right lane until the water tower, then try, just try to get into the left lane so that you can get into the turn lane.
This is the area I am talking about.
And can we please cut the sarcasm?

Responders getting obnoxiously aggressive. I was only reporting an issue that is problem for others (13 voters).

There is a cop who sits down there by the water tower now..tucked WAY back where you cannot see him until you are up near that street that tucks back to the water tower. Other times I have seen a cop past the school closer to Sashabaw, and have seen a cop in the parking lot of those stores next to the gas station past Clintonville.
