Still no change ! A Regal van is parked almost on woodman street blocking the sidewalk and old people walk in the street to get around it. Cars turning down Woodman have no sight of these people because of the van or other vehicles.

Still not fixed yet...... And, all the politicians are too busy to bother right now because they are campaigning. I don't need a flyer on my door at Mitchell Heights with mints. We need problems in this city FIXED!!

Time for new blood in the council, etc.

Why does the police cars go by and see that they are obstructing the sidewalk and ticket them!

Nothing changed and they still block the walking area! The whole side of the Woodman parking lot is marked off with lines that go almost to the street. Trucks and cars part with their bumpers almost on Woodman street which leaves no sidewalk area for people to walk on. Anyone driving heading south from S.Main street turning the corner heading west onto Woodman can't see people until its too late. I thought that there were laws even if its a driveway, that does not allow parking blocking a sidewalk. I have no idea why this has not been corrected yet!

There was a vendor downtown who put furniture on the sidewalk for sale and was fined and had to stop the practice. He wasn't even blocking 1/2 of the walk area of the sidewalk! The Regal Flooring trucks and cars park to the edge of the parking lot, blocking the walk area (sidewalk) completely for well over a year and nothing still has been done. I know that the Mayors Office, City Counselors and FRPD has been contacted in this matter and they still are allowed to block the walk area of the sidewalk/driveway! . If a city sidewalk there is 48" wide then no cars/trucks can park from woodman street to 48 inches into the parking lot ! Simple isn't it ! Funny, its seems that the only thing simple here is the City ! GET IT FIXED ALREADY!!

Still no change day or night. A SUV was parked 6 inches from the street last night and it was hard to see when I was turning down Woodman Street off S.Main street. I travel that intersection about 5 times a day (and night) and think its awful this has not been fixed yet! Go there with a tape measure then measure the sidewalk lower down Woodman near King street. If its 36" or 48" then go up and make a chalk mark from the edge of Woodman into the parking lot for Regal Flooring. Paint a line across and paint NO PARKING along that edge. TIcket those who park over that line !!!! The Cite of Fall River owns that edge of the driveway NOT Regal Flooring so take it back !!!

I drove by there Saturday and a black Mercedes was parked on the sidewalk on the corner of Woodman street with the front parked right at the edge of Woodman street. An elderly woman was walking in the street because she could not walk on a sidewalk. Three cars and 2 trucks were also parked at the edge of the parking lot on Woodman street blocking the sidewalk area that should be at the edge of the parking lot. Posts on here have been repeatedly asked for this to be fixed and called well over a year to the City of Fall River doesn't seam to matter. Maybe Regal Flooring is related a city official! Correct this already.

Eveyday this week I drove by this area and saw what the posters are talking about. This is simple to fix however it seems the City of Fall River doesn't care!

Thomas, I see this all day long from my home nearby. I have never seen a ticket given out.... ever!!

Can't this be fixed already?

I went by a short time ago, no where to walk on Woodman street........Van parked near sidewalk on edge of Woodman. I almost got hit !!! Do something...

when are you going to believe that regal has ties (donations to the mayors campaign) nothing will happen,because that's the attitude wil has,it won't happen if we make the change tomorrow. so get out and VOTE.

Well...one would think that this is a safety issue that would be a priority to the officials of this city. I have sent email to city counselors about this at least a year ago and even spoke to Pat Casey who said it would be corrected and a sidewalk designation there would be made and enforced! Same old lies and no body cares.

Still the same at that corner ! Looks like they have their hand in the bag with city officials and the mayor also. A police officer lives two houses down from there, sees it every day and still nothing has been done!!

Still the same at this intersection. Not important until this link is printed out and the City of Fall River is sued because of ample warning to a dangerous situation! The City better hope its not me who is rear ended , hit head on or hit while walking in the street there because years have gone by and the problem remains the same. WHERE IS THE SIDEWALK PARKING ENFORCMENT??? Just paint a line where the sidewalk should be and ticket the vehicles that park over that line !! I guess Pat Casey is doesn't care .....neither does the business owner and the Mayor of this once great city!

Cars and trucks still parking there!.I guess the city just don't care. I have copied the topic and posts here along with the picture getting ready to be submitted to my attorney. If me or anyone I know gets hit there because of this not being fixed, the City will surely loose in court because they were under notice of a dangerous situation.

I love the way this has been ignored by FRPD and the Mayors Office! I just don't understand this. The city finds a way to raise taxes all the time but doesn't take care of its citizens. Too bad...
