Was this intersection ever reviewed? Can you please follow up with the findings? No changes have been made over the past year.

I need a better understanding of what is being requested at this intersection and what rush hour means. Rush hour in the morning or the evening? What hours has the traffic been seen to seem the worst.

From my personal experience, driving north on Baldwin between 4-4:30 seems to be when the County staff get out and that vehicles turning from Academy heading east and making the right onto Baldwin Ave, will not stop for the stop sign and will block the intersection. This means only a few cars going straight on Baldwin, can get through the intersection each round without blocking the box.

The original poster is stating that the intersection is dangerous for pedestrians.

I have one tiny personal view of the intersection, I now need more information so when I pull all the information together into a report, the engineers make an informed decision on how to make the intersection better, based on community feed back, as well as best practices and data.

I live in this area. It’s also very busy during the morning rush, around 8am or so when I walk by. I sometimes see people running red lights and have even seen people drive down the wrong side of the street to get around traffic. To cross Baldwin you need to push the walk signal, it doesn’t automatically change. I think some folks might not realize that

People also go SUPER FAST when there isn’t much traffic. speed bumps on Baldwin would be very helpful

The walk signal is for extending the amount of seconds for when pedestrians (are supposed to) have the right of way.

I wish someone would report Baldwin and Vroom. It is scary trying to cross at any time, but it is very dark there at night.

I have a question about the turning cars. Are they making a right on red or a right on green. I ask because do you think a NO TURN ON RED sign would help?

Speed bumps are not possible on a road with that much volume and it being a main route for emergency vehicles.
