Description

There are several students walking from Dutchman Road onto Rock Quarry Road walking to South East Raleigh High School. These students have no place safe to walk. There are no sidewalks until they walk pass the Family Dollar Store. This poses a safety hazard. Students are walking along a side a road that has heavy traffic as well as having to walk across a bridge( over I 40) is a great concern.

We need sidewalks in place for walking students. I am greatly concern that someone’s son or daughter will be hit and or even killed by a motorist.

Please put sidewalks in this area, let’s prevent something tragic from happening. I am a concerned parents, my child walks from school most days and it keeps my nerves on edge until my child is home safe.
