I agree completely - when I press the button to cross the street, I have to wait upwards of 90 seconds, and when the pedestrian light comes on, it is only for 8-10 seconds. At the same time time though, traffic leaving GU Hospital parking has a green light to turn, and I've almost gotten hit a few times trying to cross the street. There is not time that pedestrians can cross where at least one lane of traffic has a green light, which can make it near impossible to cross during rush hour since many cars do not want to stop for you.
